The Sartoralist's 'On the Street' in Florence series of photos posted to his blog recently are a stylish window into the lifestyle and fashion world of the hip Italian city. As always, Scott Schuman is drawn to the most intriguing and inspiring subjects available in a city that is likely to be filled with both.
Unusual, however, is the palatte of colors on the subjects. Perhaps a product of the time of year, but the mostly dark (black) and otherwise neutral shades do seem to match the cold breath coming out of that one hoodie. A group of older gentleman gather in beige trench coats is my favorite, while the two young men in the navy winter jackets look like they could have been plucked from New York or L.A. The Sartorialist's 'On the Street' in Florence series is another great collection of images showcasing European street style.
