German-based artist Sakir Gökçebag has been doing some pretty amazing work lately and has now turned to everyone's favorite household bathroom product as the medium for his latest installations.
Sakir has decided to use toilet paper to create some creative wall installations in his show entitled 'Translayers.' The show consists of various rolls of toilet paper hung upon a white wall and crafted into unique designs just by unrolling the paper. Some of his installations involve large quantities of toilet paper rolls, while others only involve a few rolls.
There is also a large tower positioned in the center of the exhibit that contains sheets of toilet paper made to appear almost drape-like. Sakir Gökçebag has put on several installations, but this one is a very clever use of a very commonly used product.
