The Safe Spark is Designed to Keep Young Revelers Away from Harm
Michael Hines — November 13, 2011 — Life-Stages
The 4th of July may be many months away, but that doesn’t mean the Safe Spark should be overlooked. The Safe Spark is a device designed to make sparklers (those small, flaming sticks of light) safer for children.
Kathleen Carron is the designer behind this sparkling sheath, which makes sparklers more fun and safe. Sparklers burn incredibly bright and hot, which is bad news waiting to happen, especially in the hands of clumsy kids. The Safe Spark safely contains the sparkler in a protective cone, keeping the hands of kids out of harms way. The device also features three colored LED lights to make sparklers more fun.
This device aims to keep children out of harm's way when having fun with sparklers.
