Software engineers Jay Flatland and Paul Rose have crated a Rubik's Cube robot that is running to break the record as the fastest machine to ever solve the popular puzzle.
While the Rubik's Cube is one of the hardest brain teasers to date, geniuses have been cracking the code and solving them in under minutes. While Lucas Etter holds the record as the fastest human being to ever solve a Rubik's Cube, this nifty robot is right behind him as the fastest gadget to solve the tricky cube. As it stands, the current world record for machines solving the cube is at 3.253 seconds whereas this Rubik's Cube robot can crack the color coordinated puzzle in a mere 1.019 seconds.
If World Record judges are able to certify Flatland and Rose’s creation, this robot will be crowned the new winner.
