For the first-ever digital speedcubing competition, the 2020 Red Bull Rubik's World Cup, Rubik's Brand is introducing the all-new digital Rubik's Connected Cube. This innovative puzzle cube puts a fresh new twist on the iconic product, as it connects to the Rubik's Arena and gives amateur and professional "competitive cubers" alike the ability to virtually compete in tournaments.
While the Rubik’s Connected Cube itself takes the form of a physical object, this next-gen puzzle toy allows even more freedom for speedcubers to show off their skill in rapidly rearranging the cube's form. Participants need either the new Rubik's Connected Cube or a GoCube and the companion app.to access the digital qualifiers, which kick off in just a few days and will culminate in a World Final in the fall.
