Route 66, also known as Will Rogers Highway, is one of America's original highways and has become on the the most famous roads in the country. Bruegger's Bagels new menu draws inspiration from the nostalgia-inducing road in the form of a delicious new sandwich.
The Route 66 is a seasonal sandwich that consists of a French Toast Bagel topped with hickory-smoked bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, Sriracha maple syrup and a fresh-cracked egg. Along with the highway-inspired breakfast sandwich, the chain is also offering a sandwich called the Mighty Melt, which is made with jalapeno cornbread and seasonal bagels in flavors such as French Toast and Pumpkin.
