This Robotic Suit Allows Wearers to Feel Super Powerful
Michael Baxter — February 3, 2014 — Tech
A portable robot suit is still quite awhile away for citizen use, but just because we can't get a personal one yet doesn't mean the robotics world isn't hard at work. This robot suit allows users to power through basis tasks with super human efficiency.
Activelink plans to mass-produce its suit called the power-labor suit and sell it to the masses for $5,000 a piece. The robot suit allows users to move at enhanced speed and lift things much heavier than they would typically be able to. The suits are quite bulky so being able to walk around outside with them may be a little bit farther down the line, but given the fact that these things can make you feel super powerful, they'll definitely have their uses.
