The Wild, Wild West was not known for being the most female-friendly environment. Riquelle Pals adds some much-needed Girl Power to this editorial reinterpretation of a male-dominated time and place. Pals was joined by photographer Carlijn Jacobs, stylist Sheila Pinas and beauty expert Celine Bernaerts. Irene Haast and Michelle Pang served as the editorial's production directors.
Photographer Carlijn Jacobs remembers, "We were road tripping through dead valleys and created lots of chaos in all the little villages where we were shooting." That chaos lead to one angered property-owner threatening the team with a shotgun! While definitely scary, the altercation was pretty fitting for the editorial's Western theme.
Overall, Pals and the team shows us how the West was really won in this cheeky editorial shot exclusively for C-Heads.
