The Ring Scanner by Honeywell is a unique wearable barcode scanner that takes ergonomic design into consideration. It embodies a much smaller look and is the winner of the Red Dot Product Design Award. It is worn on the finger with a wireless look to scan barcodes by pointing at items. It lines up directly with the barcode and is able to scan it within less than a second.
The Honeywell China team speaks about the ring, stating “As it consumes little power and offers IP66 protection, it is ideal for a variety of scenarios, such as logistics or production line. The ring is made of skin-friendly rubber and is very lightweight, so it can be worn for many hours.”
