This Giant Food reusable bag campaign has been launched by the brand in partnership with four local artists to help encourage shoppers to pick one up and support a good cause.
The campaign consists of four reusable bags emblazoned with the artwork of each respective artist and will see $1 from each one sold donated to their respective local non-profit organization. The campaign includes the work of Marcella Kriebel, Ann Gill, Grave Manno and Dashiell Kirk, and Brand Almond. The campaign is part of the brand's Community Bag Program that was originally launched in 2019.
Director, External Communications and Community Relations Felis Andrade spoke on the new Giant Food reusable bag campaign saying, "With the help of our customers, we've achieved significant accomplishments through our Community Bag Program, including saving over 585,000 single plastic bags and helping over 1,700 non-profit organizations last year alone. We're excited to spotlight local artists whose creative designs celebrate the core of Maryland, D.C., Virginia and Delaware while also supporting the local charities that mean the most to them."
