'Mother New York’s' new resume tool, 'The Pregnancy Pause,' helps moms return to the workforce post-maternity leave.
It can be difficult for moms to explain gaps in their resume from maternity leave to new employers. The US federal government only allows for 12 weeks of unpaid leave after giving birth, forcing many mothers to quit their job after giving birth.
