Ren the Dog is Yohji Yamamoto's Pet and READYMADE Honors Him
READYMADE works in collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto to celebrate Ren the dog, who is Yamamoto's beloved pet. Ren is made in an adorable plush version made from a sustainable mindset. He is made using patched apparel materials, which are deadstock scraps of tweed wool fabric.
These materials are stitched by hang using a thick white thread to create Ren. The figure stands at only five inches in height and only five pieces are made, complete with the beaded eyes. It is only available upon request and is more of a collectible. Currently, the Yohji Yamamoto GINZA SIX outpost has all five iterations available for viewing currently and is the only discord boutique listed. Those interested can place orders on Yamamoto's website.
