Footwear fanatics are getting a fresh look at the Reebok x Chromat Zig Kinetica sneakers, which can now be seen on virtual models Rue and X AE created by CGI artists Pussykrew. The collaborative sneakers first made their appearance during Chromat's Spring 2020 New York Fashion Week show and a new campaign is being launched during quarantine as an exploration of "the space between gender, identity, and the post-human universe."
The post-apocalyptic campaign is set on a city rooftop and sets the scene by imagining "a dance challenge filmed on a rooftop and transmitted to a bedroom screen culminates with a long-awaited IRL meeting (once it's safe again.)" There are three genderless sneakers styes in all, each of which boasts practical and comfortable yet stylish features.
