The team at Interior design studio Hollie Bowden Interiors created the new Rachel Boston flagship store and showroom location in London. It is found in Shoreditch's Redchurch street and sections off into four main areas. This includes the retail space, the private appointment area, a workshop area, and office space for the small team of 12. The main goal of the design was to create a subtly luxurious experience using a palette of steel and glass paired with wood veneer and velvet mohair upholstery.
The founder of the studio explains the design notion to Dezeen, stating "Jewellery stores can be read as quite uninviting and exclusive. I wanted to create the opposite experience to that, something that felt open and un-intimidating, yet special and elevated." Rachel Boston continues, "Even though our pieces are striking, they are ultimately small objects by nature, so I didn't want a huge amount of fussy furniture or bold colors to detract from the experience of customers viewing our pieces."
