44% of surveyed human resource managers said they were less likely to promote someone who wore provocative clothing in the office. When it comes to clothing-based promotion factors, 43% were dissuaded by wrinkled clothes and 27% by casual attire in the workplace. Even though the taboo about tattoos seems to be diminishing, many still said visible tattoos influence their decisions.
