The Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Features Plant-Based Bottles
Meghan Young — April 27, 2011 — Eco
Product packaging is continuing to be revamped and revolutionized in order to introduce more environmentally conscious materials into the consumer market, and the Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion line has just set the bar for hair competitors. Its new line introduces a plant-based bottle that is made out of sustainable sugarcane-derived plastic.
The Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion line will consume over 70 percent less fossil fuels and release over 170 percent less greenhouse gases per ton compared to traditional petroleum-based plastic bottles. More than that, however, it will (hopefully) inspire other companies to step up their sustainable packaging process.
The Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion line will be sold in Western Europe first and then the rest of the world over the next couple of years.
