Australian retailer Coles is teaming up with British supermarket Sainsbury’s to expand its in-store private label offering.
The two retailers have joined in a three year partnership that will allow Coles to access and sell products from the widely popular Sainsbury's private label selection.
“We want to accelerate the introduction of innovative products to Coles Own Brand, and this partnership allows us to do that with a range of food and groceries that are already proven in the international market but not yet available in Australia,” said Coles chief executive Greg Davis.
The partnership will include adding up to 1200 products to Coles' private label offering which currently included best-sellers like its free-from and plant-based food products.
