MINNA shines a spotlight on the Portals collection for the season, comprised of patterned wallpapers that elevate any home. MINNA is a queer-owned home goods imprint and it is celebrating a special milestone this year -- 2024 marks the brand's 10th anniversary. Founder Sara Berks taps into her art studio to create the collection inspired by her original paintings.
Berks forms patterned-centric visuals and the detailed designs bring her work to life, hence the namesake Portals. The collection is made up of seven styles in total: "Tower, Vision, Portals, Painted Grid, Terrace, Vine, and Quilt." All of these are made with a painterly theme and done by hand. The studio uses digital printing techniques and the capsule also offers fabric options. Berks notes, “Portals is an exciting new direction for us. As a company that has always defined itself by the technique and thought that goes into each product, utilizing digital methods opens a new world for us.”
