Port House is the name of an innovative new architectural project that is designed to function as something of an extension of the famous port in the Belgian city of Antwerp. Developed by none other than Zaha Hadid Architects, Port House stands out due to the fact that it features a glazed facade that offers a mix of opaque and transparent glass elements.
What's more, the project also comprises the addition of a glass roof to a former courtyard section that now acts as a reception lobby. This part of the Port House renovation also included the renovation and restoration of an old library.
What's great about the Port House project is that it shows that audacious architecture can be carried out without disturbing previously existing structures.
