SlumpyKev Taps the Childhood Nostalgia of the 2000s

On February 15th, Depop Space LA will be hosting an exciting pop-up art show that will showcase the work of emerging creative @SlumpyKev. The artist has received quite a bit of recognition on social media for his life-sized and hand-painted creations, each of which embraces early 2000s childhood nostalgia.
@SlumpyKev draws inspiration from kid's shows that were predominantly aired on Cartoon Network. The playful artworks are sure to delight Millennials as they recognize the characters — from Courage the Cowardly Dog and Plank from 'Ed, Edd n Eddy' to Billy from 'Billy & Mandy' and Aku from 'Samurai Jack.'
