Lamp design brand Elite Fixtures created these entertaining lamp pop culture artwork mashup images as a way to promote its lamp shades. Elite Fixtures had illustrators Photoshop lamp shades over top of a selection of notoriously recognizable pop culture images.
Elite Fixtures took an eclectic mix of famous pop culture images from classical paintings to celebrity portraits and edited the images to include an Elite Fixtures lamp shade. Some of images featured are Expressionist Edvard Munch's famous painting The Scream, Albert Einstein, Mona Lisa, Michael Jackson's album cover for Bad and Grant Wood's farmer portrait American Gothic. In each image, one classic feature has been comically replaced with a lampshade. For instance, Mona Lisa's famous face is almost entirely covered up with a pastel pink lamp shade. A quirky marketing gimmick, these lamp shade pop culture mash ups are sure to get attention over the Interweb.
