If you've ever wished that you could simply wrap up the rug along with the mess of your kids' toys on the floor, then the Polimata multifunctional mat is your dream come true. This clever product is a geoform blanket that folds up completely to conceal playroom chaos.
Designer Wiktoria Szawiel came up with a generous standard version and a Polimata Small that cater to different sizes of interior spaces and plaything collections. The first unfurls from the shape of a banana to expose its entertaining contents and serve as a comfortable carpet. The corners of the latter come together and seal shut to form a soft pyramid shape. The two Polimata products were inspired by the folding paper art of origami, by the curiosity of kids and by the complaints of parents.
