Yeye Design Gives Molo a Colorful and Unusual Aesthetic

As poke restaurants are growing in popularity among health-oriented individuals on the West Coast, the branding identities of such establishments are becoming ever more creative. The dish is a Hawaiian seafood staple that relies on raw tuna, salt, candlenuts and seaweed as main ingredients. To transfer the flavorful food creation into a light-hearted aesthetic identity, poke restaurant Molo turns to Mexico-based Yeye Design.

The creative studio quite frankly goes rogue with this branding project. The result is an incredibly playful and whimsical identity that utilizes pastel colors and unconventional combinations. Molo's to-go containers, business cards and menus are decorated with interesting and comedic characters. From the cool otter emerging from a crab who is enjoying a poke bowl to the stretching human/shark hybrid, Yeye Design creates an incredibly entertaining style for the poke restaurant.
