Plot clock is a simple robot with a very simple job: to let you know what time it is. While you could always get a clock to do this job for you, Plot Clock is much more compelling. The clock uses a dry-erase board and marker to keep you up-to-date on the time.
Watching the clock tick away minutes is no fun. If you could put a robot in place of the clock to at least put up a bit of entertainment while you wait, this would be the one you want. The clock is created by Johaness and it stresses functionality and simplicity. The DIY part of it is that it's actually not all that hard to create it yourself using an Arduino controller and 3D-printed parts.
