PLATEAU STUDIO Channels Nostalgic Tokyo for SS22
Taiwanese fashion imprint PLATEAU STUDIO introduces its latest collection designed for the Spring/Summer 2022 season with a focus on Japan as the inspiration. The label taps the help of some friends from Japan to shoot the lookbook for the seasonal range in Shibuya, Tokyo. It takes on a lighthearted perspective and Jerry Chien, brand manager at the imprint talks about the seasonal lookbook.
He states, “On a summer night in Shibuya, street lights, shops, and izakaya signs are always so dazzling. You might find it a little crowded and hot, but not as bad as Taipei. Got out of Shibuya Station, looked at the endless shops, restaurants, and bars, and celebrated the start of the weekend with three or five friends. [...] While still unfulfilled, we walk down the street together. Everyone is heading home in different directions but there was still a short way to go together. This is my favorite Tokyo.”
