This post is a double-whammy for two reasons: first, I never knew that the IKEA Plastis even existed and, two, the Plastis Ice Straw is pure genius. For those of you who had no clue what the Plastis was either, let me enlighten you. It is IKEA’s answer to cooling bottled water. The Plastis ice tray freezes slim, cylinder blocks of ice that slip easily into the bottle!
What’s even more amazing is that Instructables member trebuchet03 has created the Plastis Ice Straw using the IKEA tray.
