The Tecnológico de Monterrey’s university students showcase a special design program dubbed Plant-Based which conceptualizes objects in a functional angle. The students explore human's domestic connection with vegetables and so 28 individuals that stem across different campuses work together to create the design objects.
All of these are meant to be easily integrated into day-to-day lives. Each one highlights a plant's basic need to thrive, which includes the elements of water, sunlight, and soil. These ideas are merged together with form and function into a visually pleasing accessory that those would actually enjoy having in their space. The students worked with a primary color palette of red, yellow, green, white, and blue and used steel sheets because of their durability.
