Aramark is introducing its first dedicated plant-forward dining concept called The Twisted Beet, which offers a wide variety of healthy meals that reimagine classic comfort foods. On the menu at The Twisted Beet, diners will find Eggplant Meatball Subs and Creole Beyond Sausages that can be enjoyed alongside colorful sides like Cauliflower Mac and Cheese or Caesar Brussels Sprouts. The menu also gives customers the chance to build their own meals by choosing a base, a protein, plus sauces and toppings.
In collaboration with the American Heart Association, Aramark launched the Healthy for Life 20 by 20 initiative, which gives a prominent place to fruits, vegetables and grains on its menus. Like the 30% vegan and vegetarian main dishes served by the food service company across universities, hospital cafes and workplaces, the food offered by The Twisted Beet offers a fun way for people to explore plant-based eating.
