Panto time is here again and I really like this site from Robinsons--it allows children to ‘Plan a Panto’ online, which can then be acted out offline for their parents and any other friends and family. I do really like the concept that while this is an online site, it encourages children to go offline in order to be creative.
At the Plan a Panto site, you get to choose your panto from the classics such as 'Jack and the Beanstalk' or 'Snow White' (it gives you really funny short summaries). The site then talks you through everything you need and even gives you a prompt which you use to learn your lines.
The site is brilliantly designed with a range of accents and strange looking lead characters guaranteed to keep their attention so you can have some peace and quiet!
