The Bedford's Pizza-Stuffed Burrata Turns Pizza Inside-Out

If you've ever wished your pizza was more cheese and less crust, you'll want to sink your teeth into the pizza-stuffed burrata at The Bedford in Brooklyn, New York.
Burrata is essentially a giant cheese ball that is solid mozzarella on the outside and soft stracciatella and cream on the inside. As if all the cheese and cream weren't indulgent enough, The Bedford has been giving its burrata a bit of a pizza twist.
The new pizza-stuffed burrata starts with smushed mozzarella curds, which are then doused in hot water, squished and stretched into cheesy orbs. Before the burrata takes its shape, each cheese ball is filled with homemade marinara sauce and even more cheese. The end result is essentially a crustless cheese pizza that's been turned inside out.
