Korea Design Membership displayed its take on the "interaction of culture through design" through its recent release of the 'Picknicking Bag of London." The Membership team debuted the tote line at the London Design Festival Week where it worked with members of University of London's Goldsmith's school.
Contained within the folds of the Picknicking Bag of London is a thick blanket covered with maps of London's subway routes. The projects architects Hyeonseung Song, Jieun Kim and Chaerin Han aimed to imbue the satchel with motherly qualities, providing the young with the tools and knowledge required of a successful life journey.
On top of being notably practical, this concept purse is also entirely adorable. Two tied knots line the top of the envelope-esque shape, mimicking the appearance of bunnies.
