Jill Greenberg is an established photographer with a decidedly anti-Republican background. Apparently Jill Greenberg was not thoroughly vetted when Atlantic magazine asked her to photograph a cover shot featuring John McCain. Jill Greenberg did OK with the cover, but the photos Greenberg added to her blog, which can be seen here, didn’t sit will with McCain or Atlantic.
In the end, Atlantic couldn’t use the Jill Greenberg photo for obvious reasons and had to scramble to come up with a new cover.
