Designer Pelin Ozbalci introduces a look at its new side table that is made with inspiration from the look and function of a Chinese waist fan. It has a unique design that is detailed with layers of wood that come together to create the circular table top.
It also creates a visual that appears to be unbalanced due to how the tabletop sticks out towards the sides and away from the singular leg. It's most notable aspect is the folding mechanism as it folds in half rather than as a whole. The 90-degree allows the hinge to be free and the simple function does not require additional parts to lock the halve together and only folds if the hinge rests in the middle.
