The Passover Haggadah ('telling') is a scripture read by Jewish people on the first night of Passover. The scripture relates the history of Jews' slavery in Egypt and the miracles that led to their freedom and exodus. Now, Passover celebrants can use an app called Ultimate Digital Haggadah to enjoy a beautiful multimedia re-telling of the ancient text.
This Passover Haggadah app uses intricate digital animation, painting and calligraphy to tell the story of the Jews' exodus from Egypt. It is richly illustrated with over 100 images taken from the Old Testament and various synagogues. Narration is provided by actor Walter Krochmal, with a Sephardic Jewish soundtrack by famed musician Gerard Edery.
The app was developed by Downhill Publishing, and is compatible with iPhones, iPads as well as Android devices.
