Paranoid Fan, an app founded by Agustin Gonzalez to have food delivered to sport-enthusiasts directly in their seats, recently pivoted its mapping and delivery technologies to support food banks amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The virus has prompted many businesses to close their doors and put a strain on local food banks across the country.
The reimagined app is called Nepjun and digitizes the infrastructure of food banks. The platform helps food banks and pantries set up a menu, confirm packaging, and develop a a system to distribute orders efficiently. The app is free for both food banks and pantries to use and delivery personal are paid competitively, although the app will accept volunteer delivery staff as well.
