Paperpod Offers Eco-Friendly Furniture and Playhouses
Tiana Reid — January 12, 2013 — Social Good
Social Business' sister site, Trend Hunter, wrote about PaperPod, which was founded by product designer Paul Martin, over six years ago. Here, SocialBusiness.org will highlight some of the social and environmental impacts that the company is committed to making. And since ten, Paperpod was acquired by 3WM Limited, which offer recycled, safe and biodegradable toys.
Paperpod distributes to schools and nurseries and follows Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and National programs and curriculums in order to create products that are stimulating for children. An added bonus to the products offered, which range from forts, dollhouses and airplanes to chairs and sheds, is that the cardboard is left blank so that kids can decorate their playhouses if they want to, making it more like their own creation.
