Lucie Boucher and Bernie Huebner paired up to create 'Glasscapes.' This art project is a collection of landscapes made with hand-cut and painted glass. Different colored sheets of glass are layered together and placed on top of a dark wooden stand. This gives their three-dimensional artwork the illusion of being a floating scene.
The artwork is interactive and can be rearranged to create new and similar landscapes out of the same glass. For example, the two artists created an oceanic landscape giving the the ability to interchange the waves. The same art piece can go from a calm rhythmic-looking scene to a raging storm.
The stunning art pieces resemble high-end decor with a minimalist angle due to the simple colors and details.
