This outdoor coffee shop is covered in wooden panels for a rustic, natural theme.
Called 'Elephant Grounds' and located in Hong Kong, the coffee shop was designed by James JJ Acuna of JJA and Bespoke Architecture. Although most of its sitting space is indoors, the shop has an outdoor element that is not quite like a patio. Instead, it has enormous windows that open to reveal benching that is connected to both the inside an the outside of the shop. Additionally, the store's main counter is partially outdoors -- allowing patrons to sit outside while waiting for or drinking their drinks.
The unusual mix of a patio space with an indoor restaurant makes this outdoor coffee shop one that is likely to attract people passing by.
