Office of Tangible Space is an interdisciplinary studio that recently redesigned the headquarter office for the female-centric body brand, Billie. Billie is known for its work on redesigning the ubiquitous razor. The design studio on the project decided to play on Billie's brand model by designing its 13,000 square foot office space with luxurious open-concept bathroom motifs.
The space includes a curved, tiled wall that resembles the pattern found in showers. In addition, textured glass blocks that typically form windows or shower walls enclose the conference rooms. The office headquarters borrows several aesthetic features from bathrooms. In addition, the layout allows for flexible workspaces. Different areas in the space are designed for different modes of working, including conference rooms, private rooms, and informal lounge areas.
