OakOak is a French artist with an incredible eye for creative opportunity. His work reflects his wonderful vision. He sees regular settings and structures and re-imagines them with a few simple changes that make a world of difference. In this example, OakOak takes one of four fluorescent yellow road markings and turns it into one of the most mythical weapons in modern pop culture: the lightsaber.
This project is not only brilliant for its simplicity, but also for its timing. Not long ago, Disney announced J.J. Abrams will be directing the seventh installment of the Star Wars saga. So with much of the world with Star Wars on its mind, OakOak must have been thinking along the same lines. All he had to do for this project was paint the lightsaber handle.
