A Notre-Dame greenhouse rebuild is a unique idea being presented to fix the cathedral. Since the damage to the Notre-Dame Cathedral occurred, the French government has been looking to the future and searching for ideas to rebuild Notre-Dame.
As many design ideas are being put forward, Studio NAB envisions the project with sustainability as a central theme. Studio NAB’s design idea features the roof of the cathedral rebuilt as a greenhouse. In addition, the spire of the building will be used to hold bee hives. Studio NAB’s design would use the greenhouse to bolster education on urban farming by hosting events for children.
