If polite table manners are extremely important to you, or you simply want to eat your Cup Noodles as quietly as possible, Nissin developed the perfect utensil for you: a slurp-eliminating noodle fork. Based in Japan, the company unveiled their noise-canceling fork called Otohiko. According to Luxury Launches, the "state-of-the-art technology entails a novel device that syncs up to a smartphone app which detects slurping noises and produces a counter-noise that will cancel out the slurps."
5000 of Nissin's well-researched noodle fork inventions will be made available at 14,800 Japanese yen each -- approximately $130 USD. However, the Otohiko will only go into production if the food firm receives all 5000 pre-orders prior to the deadline of December 15, 2017.
