Resident Culture Brewing Company, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based brewery, recently launched a delicious west coast IPA that has a delectable hoppy profile that is studded with dank notes, but manages to do so without any alcohol involved.
Dubbed 'NARC,' which stands for 'Non-Alcoholic Resident Culture,' this booze-free west coast IPA is available on tap, in individual canned formats as well as in six packs of 12-ounce cans. The beer offers hints of resin, arboreal pine-like elements and a deliciously refreshing layer of zesty orange and grapefruit, all of which is eminently enjoyable thanks to a crisp texture.
Co-owner and director Chris Tropeano stated that the advent of a tasty, non-alcoholic west coast IPA is an example of inclusivity in the world of adult beverages. “We want everyone to feel comfortable, even those who don’t consume alcohol or those trying to reduce their alcohol consumption," Tropeano said.
