This 'Nine' lamp fuses simplicity and complexity by having a super minimal design that's also inspired by the shape of numerals. Made by Aldentro, the 'Nine' lamp is a thin piece of metal that's been cleverly folded into the shape of the number nine and holds a light bulb in the center of where the folded metal ends.
Personally, I'd be in constant fear of knocking the 'Nine' lamp over since one side of the illuminating device appears to be heavier, but that doesn't mean this wouldn't still make a great aesthetic addition to any room.
Implications - Consumers gravitate towards products with simplistic designs because it evokes a calming pathos while simultaneously requiring very little cognitive engagement in order for its use. Corporations may consider simplifying their product designs in order to entice consumers into buying their wares.
