A set of new private islands is all set to be built at The World artificial archipelago in Dubai. Designed by Jean-Micheal Cousteau and Waterstudio.NL, these private islands will be part of Oqyana World First, which will form the Australasion part of the development.
The World is a series of man-made islands made in the shape of the seven continents. Covering an area of 931 hectares, the developments include residential islands, commercial spaces and tourism zones.
The new private islands each features a garden, a pool and a beach and can be designed to meet clients' specific desires. They are designed to remain stable on the water and to last for over a century, whilst providing underwater habitats to marine life.
