The New Barrio de la Música Park is designed by Costa Fierros Architectos. Transforming a former horse carriage grounds, the design studio have created a striking outdoor urban space.
This park connects two neighborhoods and features intricate stonework details displaying geometric paving patterns and carefully planted greenery. The decorative 30 000-sq-m space allows both urban areas better access to the city’s metro station.
Architects Pablo Díaz-Fierros and Sara Tavares of Costa Fierros aimed to give residents a beautiful public space that would improve the look and feel of their rundown neighbourhood. Using ceramic, lime and granite stone materials, the designers payed homage to Seville’s royal palace courtyard when designing the New Barrio de la Música Park. Boasting stunning areal views, this outdoor space seems almost rhythmic.
