The Neurodiversity at Deloitte program is an initiative that aims to recruit, retain and nurture neurodivergent workers, such as those on the autism spectrum, who bring different and valuable ways of thinking and problem-solving to the organization. The program consists of a three-month apprenticeship with an opportunity for full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. The program is part of Deloitte’s global neurodiversity inclusion strategy, which focuses on enabling success for its workers through their entire career.
By embracing neurodiversity, Deloitte not only demonstrates its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), but also gains a competitive edge from increased diversity in skills, ways of thinking, and approaches to problem-solving. Neurodivergent workers can offer innovative solutions and perspectives that can benefit the business and the clients. Moreover, by creating a better work environment for neurodivergent workers, Deloitte can also support other diverse colleagues and neurotypical counterparts, as well as attract and retain talent in a worker’s market. Neurodiversity inclusion at Deloitte is about recognizing and valuing the diversity of human minds and fostering an inclusive workplace culture underpinned by respect.
