This natural all-purpose cleaner is made out of ingredients safe enough that you could put every single one on your face. Crafted by Julia of the Free People blog, the homemade cleaning product is made out of water, baking soda, castile soap, witch hazel and tea tree oil.
Rather than placing the concoction in a plastic container, which could potentially alter the effectiveness of the tea tree oil, Julia repurposed an old glass jar and attached a spray bottle head. Specifically, she recycled an apple cider vinegar container.
The all-natural all-purpose cleaner not only smells nice, it is also effective. While the castile soap cleans and offers a eucalyptus scent, the witch hazel acts as an astringent and the tea tree oil has grease cutting and bacteria killing properties. Baking soda neutralizes odor and is also a mild abrasive agent.
