Perhaps influenced by the popularized activity of boot camp programs throughout North America, the National Fitness Court is an open and accessible venue where members of the public can come to use a diverse system of exercise equipment. So far, such a setup has been introduced to San Franciso and is characterized by a barrier-free square lot with an assortment of assistive workout facilities.
A wall along one side of New Deal Design's outdoor fitness center describes a possible exercise regime of bodyweight-based circuit training. Rings and bars are intended for different types of pullups and pushups and a series of contorted metal stands accommodate muscle-building conditioning. The National Fitness Court has a broad floor available with clusters of blocks to facilitate stretching.
