The Mykonos Wellness Resort is built on the hillside of the Greek island from stones excavated on site. Located in the island's heart, the rehabilitation hotel was designed and built by London- and Cyprus-based firm Kyriakos Tsolakis Architects.
The retreat features 12 suites and two public pools. It is complete with an outdoor and indoor gym designed to help professional sportspeople recover during the offseasons. Using high-quality materials, the design goal was to capture the essence of the location and the defining colors of the site. The resort comprises four levels and is located in a protected zone that offers seaside views. Stone walls define the shape of the resort's lower three levels, assembled using an unobtrusive technique to reduce the amount of mortar seen outside.
